What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Customer Data

When you access the FishNet web site, we collect and log the standard web server information of your IP address (which may be used to identify general geographical information regarding your country and possibly city) and browser type of your access.

Contact forms

If you fill out a form on the web site to contact us, we will collect the information you provide in the form, in addition to the web site data. That information is sent to us by email, which may be retained indefinitely to be able to respond to and/or provide service to you.

We preserve any contact information in offline systems and/or on a third party email service provider.

Customer Web Data

All web data you upload to your web site should be considered to be globally and publicly available, whether in a page or a database on your web site. Any privacy controls you place on any content are solely your responsibility to determine their effectiveness and maintain them.

Email Filtering Services

If you use our email filtering services, either as a direct customer or as a customer of an affiliate, we collect and log the standard information logged by an email server; this includes the IP address of the sender and recipient, the sending and receiving email addresses, and other mail header information required to process and identify the mail. Apart from the standard information logged by the mail server software, we do not retain any mail information, including the email body and/or attachments, once the mail has been delivered to the recipient(s).

This site uses cookies to track visitor interest and page use of the web site. These cookies do not contain any personal information.

Where we send your data

We may store your personal information in third party provided cloud services that are closed to uncontrolled access.

How we protect your data

We use a variety of security processes on the systems that process your data to ensure against rootkits and known viruses, and we have controls in place to temporarily block addresses that exceed a low threshold of excessive login attempts or other abusive traffic. All connections to the web site are secure; any insecure connections to the web site are immediately forced to a secure connection. Offline servers are in a secure environment.
